We need you to become a volunteer, especially if you have your own transport. You could:
take someone shopping
shop for someone else
visit a lonely person
undertake emergency and regular transport jobs
be available for small tasks in the home
answer the telephone for one day a month in your own home
use your office skills by joining the committee
We can use as much time as you can make available to us. It is possible to have a very flexible commitment to suit individual circumstances. CARE pays expenses including mileage.
